Breast Vein Treatment

Breast Veins

If you have visible dark blue veins on your breasts that cause you to feel self conscious, the doctors at the Vein & Vascular Center of South Florida can quickly, safely and successfully reduce the appearance of your breast veins using sclerotherapy.

The procedure involves injecting a special solution through a tiny needle into the vein. The vein then collapses and is absorbed by the body. Treatments involve one or more injections during one or more sessions, depending on the type, number, and severity of the veins being treated. No recovery time is needed.

It is important to note that breast veins often become more visibly pronounced as a result of pregnancy and breast feeding and will sometimes disappear in a relatively short period of time.

However, it is not uncommon for breast veins to become permanently more visible, especially after breast augmentation surgery or even natural causes. Our caring and professional vascular surgeons will help you decide if sclerotherapy is right for you.
